User Manual

Power On the Probe

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the LED indicators light up. The probe will boot up and create its own WiFi network.

Connect to Probe WiFi

On your smartphone or computer, go to WiFi settings and connect to the network named "SAGITTA_Probe_XXXX". There is no password required.

Access Control Panel

Open your web browser and navigate to http://192.168.4.1 or use the button above when connected to the probe's WiFi.

Configure Settings

Set your preferred logging interval, calibrate sensors if needed, and configure other parameters through the web interface.

Start Logging

Click "Start Logging" to begin data collection. The probe will record temperature and depth measurements at your specified interval.

Download Data

After your data collection session, stop logging and download the data file for analysis or upload it to the SAGITTA data portal.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't connect to probe WiFi? Ensure the probe is powered on and within range (typically 10-20 meters).
  • Web interface not loading? Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
  • Data not recording? Check that the SD card is properly inserted and has free space.
  • Battery draining quickly? Reduce the logging interval or check for firmware updates.

Safety Guidelines

  • Always rinse the probe with fresh water after saltwater use
  • Do not exceed the 100-meter depth rating
  • Store in a dry place when not in use
  • Charge battery fully before extended deployments
  • Regularly check O-rings and seals for wear
